Remote Hosting

DA Systems, a specialist in the provision of mobile enterprise solutions, selected us as a quality IT infrastructure partner for the installation and support of an eleven server high availability remotely hosted solution. This infrastructure supported their leading edge managed mobile data framework and application software.

One of the key remits of the project was that the infrastructure needed to provide resilience for every major part of the solution. The solution chosen consisted of 11 rackmounted Windows 2003 servers, Cisco Pix Auto-Failover firewalls, managed switches and Ultrium 3 Auto-Loader for data rollback.

A key part of the project was to test out the design and its high availability features by randomly failing out parts of the infrastructure. The solution passed this vital part of the requirements with flying colours and enabled DA Systems to quickly and smoothly "go live" with their software solution.

Upon completion of the project the ongoing support was passed to our Technical Support Centre where we provide 24x7 support through both a fully manned support service and online server monitoring.
