Every year at Complete I.T. we choose a charity to support with numerous events throughout that year.
2014/2015 saw us support Blenheim CDP as our Charity of the Year an organisation who provide support services for drug and alcohol users, families and cares, and with whom we had great fun raising money through a number of charity events.
Having chosen our 2016 charity of the year we are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with Mencap, raising money to support people with learning disabilities.
We already have a number of charity events in the diary including CIT Insomnia, a gaming event to suit our techies where they will be staying up for 24 hours in our HQ playing computer games from the latest to the greatest.
Our second event is a charity climb up Mount Snowdon and we already have 30 people signed up to take part in July.
One of our Internal Support technicians Blake Burt is taking part in the Mongolian Rally to raise money for Mencap. The Mongolian Rally thunders 10,000 miles across the mountains, desert and steppe of Europe and Asia each summer. There’s no backup, no support and no set route. Blake and his small team have decided on a Lord of the Rings theme, we can’t wait to see the pictures and will keep you updated on his progress.
Currently in the plans are various sponsored walks and bike rides and lots of bake offs. Some of our clients have already expressed an interest in getting involved so if you are also keen to get involved or sponsor, please do let your TC know and we will provide you with all the relevant information.
